Sojourner Truth Library
- The Sojourner Truth Library serves the entire New Paltz campus, collecting and distributing materials that attend to the academic needs of all departments.
- The library offers students opportunities to work with librarians to learn how to use the collection and develop research strategies, including via in-depth, one-on-one consultations. Services are extended to the entry-level composition courses as well as the senior capstone seminars and to students engaged in undergraduate research. - The library offers instruction on using information technology and practicing critical thinking, vital skills for navigating and succeeding in today’s job market.
- Library staff members regularly attend regional conferences and workshops to stay abreast of new technologies and changes in the field. Many librarians serve or have served in key positions in various professional organizations.
