If you are traveling to New Paltz from New York area airports, follow the directions below:
FROM JFK AIRPORT TO MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY
Take the New York Airporter bus service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
FROM LA GUARDIA AIRPORT TO MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY
Take the New York Airport Transport bus service to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan.
FROM NEWARK AIRPORT TO MANHATTAN IN NEW YORK CITY
Take New Jersey Transit Bus to the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
OR
Take the Airtrain to the Newark International Train station and the NJ transit or Amtrak train to Manhattan.
FROM MANHATTAN TO NEW PALTZ
At Port Authority Bus Terminal, take the Adirondack Trailways Bus to New Paltz. Buses run to New Paltz every one-to-two hours. Local taxis in New Paltz will take students to the SUNY New Paltz campus.
FROM STEWART INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NEWBURGH, N.Y.) TO NEW PALTZ
This is the closest airport to New Paltz. You can use a local taxi or limousine service to travel to New Paltz.
CAR SERVICES TO NEW PALTZ
Students who are planning to travel to SUNY New Paltz on their own, or in a group may want to reserve a car service to take them from the airport directly to SUNY New Paltz. Reservations can be made in advance by contacting the car service directly. All Transportation Network offers door-to-door service from New York airports to New Paltz.
