Office of Veteran & Military Services

Campus, Community, and Online Resources

One of the responsibilities of the Office of Veteran and Military Services at SUNY New Paltz is to make our veterans, service members, and their dependents aware of the key resources available to them as they pursue their educational and career goals. Our office maintains a comprehensive listing of resources, but the resources below represent what we feel are the most critical services that you will need and want to access during your academic career. These resources are broken apart into three categories: Campus Services, Community Services, and Helpful Websites.

Campus Services

Community Services

  • Office of Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's Veteran's Resources

"New York is home to more than one million men and women who have served in the Armed Services. As a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I am working to ensure that our veterans, service members, and their families who have sacrificed for us all are given the very best opportunities and benefits.

Finding the resources that meet your needs and navigating through a complex web of agencies can be a difficult task. For this reason, I have created this Veterans Service site which provides information on the resources, benefits, services, and grants that are available to veterans."

This housing model will be replicated nationally as Soldier On continues to change the end of the story for homeless veterans throughout the country.
