About Internship Experience: "I participated in the SUNY New Paltz's Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program for the creation of my educational history app. I also interned for the Library of Congress' John W. Kluge Center to virtually assist a scholar with historical research. Interning for one of the country's oldest federal institutions significantly developed my skills as a history educator and digitial researcher. Combined with my experiences from SURE, I gained a greater appreciation for the value of integrating technology into learning. Subsequently, I decided that I would like to pursue a master's degree in instructional technology after graduating from New Paltz. I am immensely grateful to SUNY New Paltz's Honors Program for encouraging me to take the opportunity to learn outside of the traditional classroom setting, network with leaders of the fields I am interested in, and develop academic and professional skills to take with me after graduation."
