PROGRAMS

The First Year Internship Program (FYIP) is an opportunity for first-year (non-transfer) undergraduate students to do a college-level internship during their second semester of college, supervised by faculty and staff right here on campus. Supervisors curate tailored internship experiences based on their field of expertise, giving students direct insight into potential career paths. Primary program outcomes are that students feel a larger sense of belonging and connection on campus, they increase their ability to receive professional feedback, and are able to begin articulating how their experiences build toward their larger career goals.
