Automated Messaging from Starfish
When instructors raise a tracking item within Starfish, a network of support is activated. When a flag is raised, for instance, a message is immediately generated and sent to the student’s New Paltz Outlook email. This automated message encourages students to take action based on the nature of the flag raised.
Below is a list of tracking items available to faculty to raise. This list includes manually raised tracking items which can be raised at any point in the semester, and tracking items that are affiliated with Progress Surveys.
