To the New Paltz Community,   

Welcome to another semester at SUNY New Paltz! As you return to campus, we want to share a few updates regarding study abroad. Students are currently studying on six continents while they earn credit towards their major, minor, and General Education requirements. There are opportunities for students in every major. 

While some of you may just be arriving to campus, we hope that you will leave at some point and study at one of our partner universities. Studying abroad provides an opportunity to live and study in a new place and culture, to see new things and tastes new foods, and to make new friends. The SUNY New Paltz experience extends far beyond campus. 

Make an appointment to meet with a study abroad advisor. Apply for a passport. Start your application to study abroad. It’s never too early to start thinking about where your next semester might take you.
