The Center for Student Success offers the rare opportunity to serve as a student leader on campus in an academic capacity while supporting your leadership and interpersonal skills development - skills and attributes that are valued by employers, grad schools, and professional programs.

These paid positions include customized training in learning facilitation and ongoing reflective leadership practice, all within an inclusive, supportive environment.

We seek undergraduate students with empathy, patience, and a helping disposition who are interested in developing skills for college and career!

Center for Student Success - Summary of Positions

• Graduate Assistant - Assist with supervision of peer-to-peer programs and day-to-day operations at the CSS (20 hours per week - this position includes partial tuition waiver and stipend)
• Subject Tutor - facilitate one-on-one and small group sessions for students in a specific subject area
• Supplemental Instruction Leader - facilitate group sessions for students in a specific class with a specific instructor, SI Leaders attend class as an observer along with facilitating sessions
• Writing Consultant - facilitate one-on-one peer sessions with students to work on writing topics and assignments
• Peer Coach - facilitate one-on-one sessions with students to assist with topics related to time management, study skills and other academic concerns
• Program Assistant - oversee the CSS lab including checking students in and assisting with special projects
