Graduate coordinators serve as AP Advisors so they may declare an undergraduate student into an AP major by submitting a Declaration/Change of Major workflow via my.newpaltz.edu. During the declaration process, AP advisors should be added as an Additional Advisor in the final comment field.
To update a student's progress report, advisors must submit a plan amendment via my.newpaltz.edu.
Best Practices:
- Insert a comment explaining the reason a direct course substitution is being requested.
- If you have a complex request, select "Exception" instead of "Course Substitution." This selection provides a comment/text box providing more space to explain your request.
- Select Vika Shock as the "Chair."
