Michael Mosher was appointed to the position of president and chief executive officer of Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation on April 1, 2016. He joined the company in 1985 as a junior engineer and worked with large commercial and industrial customers in Ulster, Orange, and Dutchess Counties. In 2000, Mr. Mosher was named vice president of Central Hudson Enterprises Corporation where he was responsible for energy services as well as the retail electric sales division. In June 2004, he was reassigned to CH Energy Group’s Business Development Team and was appointed Central Hudson’s assistant vice president of regulatory affairs in May 2005, before being promoted to vice president the following October. As the vice president of regulatory affairs, he was responsible for Central Hudson’s corporate regulatory policies and managing the strategic and day-to-day regulatory relationships with the New York State Public Service Commission and Department of Public Service.
Mr. Mosher received his undergraduate degree from Union College. He lives with his wife and children in the town of Red Hook, N.Y.
