Floyd Lattin


Floyd LattinFloyd Lattin is a retired investment executive and arts advocate with decades of experience in real estate investment and finance. He is co-founder and former Chief Investment Officer of The Praedium Group, where he directed the firm's investment strategy, acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions. Prior to co-founding Praedium in 1991, he held senior real estate investment positions at Credit Suisse First Boston and Bankers Trust Company.

Earlier in his career, Lattin worked in the museum field, serving in curatorial and administrative roles at the Brooklyn Museum and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, reflecting a lifelong commitment to the arts.

Lattin holds a Bachelor of Arts from Antioch College, a Master of Arts from New York University, and a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University. He and his husband, Ward Mintz, are longtime supporters of SUNY New Paltz and the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. They served on the Campaign Cabinet for the University's Soaring Higher comprehensive campaign and have been dedicated supporters of the Dorsky Museum's annual fundraising initiatives for many years. Lattin also serves on the Board of Directors of the SUNY Ulster Foundation, reflecting his commitment to supporting higher education throughout the region.
