Family Mole Night
Family Mole Night in the Chemistry Department at SUNY New Paltz
The American Chemical Society sponsors a Family Mole Night each year during National Chemistry Week where children participate in experiments in the Chemistry Department's teaching labs. Our Chemistry majors are a critical aspect of this event. They choose hands-on experiments for the children to perform and they make sure everyone has fun. This event is designed for children 6 - 12 years old. The theme for the evening changes each year and several experiments are conducted, centered around this theme.
