40 UNDER FORTY
The SUNY New Paltz 40 Under Forty Awards celebrate a New Paltz graduate who is a passionate and dedicated leader in their profession, creates positive change in their community, or re-imagines the world in an inspiring way. The awards are presented every two years to a cohort of 40 alumni who are 40 years of age or younger. Alumni are individuals who received an undergraduate, graduate, or certificate of advanced study from SUNY New Paltz.
An event to honor the recipients was held on Saturday, June 8, 2024 on the SUNY New Paltz campus.
Awards are determined by the University’s 40 Under Forty Awards Committee, comprised of representatives from the University’s senior administration, alumni leadership, faculty, and staff.
HERITAGE AND ALUMNI AWARDS
The Alumni and Heritage Awards are presented yearly at the Heritage and Alumni Awards Ceremony & Dinner during Alumni Reunion.
The Alumni Professional Achievement Award recognizes alumni who have achieved distinction in a chosen profession or outstanding lifetime achievement.
The Distinguished Alumni Service Award recognizes alumni volunteers who have made exceptional contributions in support of the activities of the SUNY New Paltz Alumni Association.
The Friends of the Alumni Association Award recognizes individuals (non-alumni) who have made exceptional contributions to alumni's engagement in the University's life.
