Danae Evans
Danae Evans came to SUNY New Paltz as a transfer student from Ulster Community College. She hails from Wurtsboro, NY. She received the Robert Kyncl ‘95 & Luz Avila Kyncl ‘96 STEM Experiential Learning scholarship for research in applied mathematics. Danei is the president of New Paltz’s Cosmic Club and secretary of New Paltz’s branch of the Society of Physics Students. This past summer she worked virtually with an engineering team from the University of New Brunswick and a community in Honduras to design a water system through the non-profit Global Engineering Brigades Danae is working towards a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Physics at SUNY New Paltz with an anticipated graduation year of 2023.
