Scholars' Mentorship Program

What is SMP?

A highly successful retention and completion program, the Scholars’ Mentorship Program develops a community of scholars and leaders who benefit from specialized courses, academic enrichment and tutoring, personalized peer and faculty mentorship, scholarships, career guidance, and special events, all of which contribute to an environment of inclusive excellence, belonging and high levels of degree completion and career success.  Any student may participate in the program by joining during Orientation, then become a peer mentor, enroll in the courses and attend events. All students in the program may participate during the entirety of their undergraduate years.
