Why do I have to accept my financial responsibility prior to registering for classes?
Students need to be fully informed that registration will generate charges for which they are responsible. It is important to have this information prior to registering for classes so that students understand that the action of registering is generating a bill, which will be sent to the student. Students also need to understand their responsibility for any changes in their plan to attend New Paltz.
