Mackenzy McMorris ’22 is a Tax Technology Consultant for Deloitte Tax. He helps provide clients digital tax solutions to automate, streamline, organize, and advance their tax processes. He also has experience in corporate tax working with tax technical software in preparing corporate and partnership tax returns.
McMorris graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a dual degree in Finance and Black Studies. He was a recipient of the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence and was the Student Speaker in the May 2022 commencement ceremony. Leading multiple organizations on campus through undergrad, McMorris connected well with the campus community in many different areas. McMorris has a passion for supporting as well as developing students and seeks to enact change through student programs at the higher education level in the future. He is currently an MBA candidate and will pursue a PhD next.
