MISSION:
Saturday Arts Lab (SAL) at SUNY New Paltz is a teaching and learning studio lab where young artists (ages 4-15) engage in exploring art and ideas through a variety of art experiences. All classes are taught by advanced art education pre-service teachers and are supervised by experienced SUNY New Paltz Art Education faculty.
DESCRIPTION:
In Saturday Arts Lab, young artists follow their curiosity to explore ideas, make discoveries, and create meaningful art! SAL artists are placed in classes with similar-age peers and are supported in their artmaking by teachers who are advanced pre-service Art Education students in the Art Education program at SUNY New Paltz.
