About: Ensembles: Orchestra
The SUNY New Paltz Orchestra rehearses and performs traditional, modern, and chamber works for orchestra. Open to all string players, and wind and percussion by audition/instructor permission, the orchestra regularly collaborates with guest soloists, composers, and student conductors. Recent performance highlights include Beethoven's Symphony No. 1, Dvořák's New World Symphony, and Respighi's Pines of Rome.
