Engineering Advisory Board Members
The purpose of the Engineering Advisory Board (EAB) at SUNY New Paltz is to assist in and foster the growth of the Division of Engineering Programs and the student experience by:
- Reviewing the activities of the Division of Engineering Programs and offering guidance and support
- Providing the Division of Engineering Programs the perspective of the industry and feedback on the current business climate for engineers, both nationally and within the Hudson Valley
- Fostering communication and opportunities for interaction between students, faculty, and industry (internships, projects, research, etc.)
- Assisting in ABET accreditation process
- Assisting with recruiting and retention of students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
- Acting as advocates for the Division of Engineering Programs within industry and to the general public
