New to the Nest - Support for Students Learning and Living in Community

Mondays from 5:00-6:00pm in HUM 20

This is a weekly in-person drop-in support group for SUNY New Paltz undergraduate students aimed to help ensure that students are empowered and prepared to reach their full social, personal, and academic potential. While certainly applicable to our newest Hawks, New to the Nest is open to all SUNY New Paltz undergraduates who want to connect with other students who are navigating the complexities of college student life and living and learning in community with one another. Students will have opportunities to build a supportive peer community, empower and support one another through shared experiences with topics that may include, but not limited to, living and learning in community with others, navigating conflict, living independently, “adulting”, and other challenging subject matters.
